Take My Life

Take my life and let it be consecrated, Lord, to Thee.
Take my moments and my days, let them flow in ceaseless praise.
Take my hands and let them move at the impulse of Thy love.
Take my feet and let them be swift and beautiful for Thee.

Take my voice and let me sing always, only for my King.
Take my lips and let them be filled with messages from Thee.

Take my silver and my gold not a mite would I withhold.
Take my intellect and use every power as You choose.

Take my will and make it Thine it shall be no longer mine.
Take my heart it is Thine own it shall be Thy royal throne.
Take my love, my Lord I pour at Your feet its treasure store

Take myself and I will be ever, only, all for Thee.

I want to live my life this way, what about you?

Honor the King

Usually we say to a leader, "you will have to earn my respect." However, the fear of the Lord says, "I see the authority that God has placed on you, therefore you already have my respect."

Judgement came, but it was by the sword of the Lord, not by God's people. God is the one who brings judgment on authorities. We are commanded to pray and honor these leaders.

Becoming a freak whenever I walked pass a bicycle.

Keep staring at their wheels and gears.

Becoming a freak whenever I saw my watch.

Trying to figure out how can the mechanisms work for my machine.

Becoming a freak whenever I saw a foldable umbrella.

Thinking that it might work for my model.

I'd finally got over calendars and able to look at the moon without feeling frustrated.

And now, here comes another nightmare!

Child of God

Oh Lord, you’re beautiful,

Your face is all I seek,

For when your eyes are on this child,

Your grace abounds to me.

I want to take your word and shine it all around.

But first help me to just, live it Lord.

And when I’m doing well, help me to never seek a crown.

For my reward is giving glory to you.

Oh Lord, please light the fire,

That once burned bright and clear.

Replace the lamp of my first love,

That burns with Holy fear.

What we do does not define us. But what define us is who we are in Christ, we are the child of God. We are not defined by what we do, but what we do is simply an expression of who we are. We need to stop comparing ourselves and start being ourselves. It is not about failing or succeeding. It is about being the very best you were created to be.

Live not to impress, but live to be who God has created you to be, which is yourself!

And now I finally understand why we always say: This is the truth and the truth shall set you free!
